Meet Maki
I’m Maki Kawakita, a Somatic Yoga and Alignment Coach based in San Diego. After more than 20 years of working internationally—from commercial photography in New York to founding a yoga school in Japan—I discovered that meaningful change begins when the body feels safe.
That realization became the MAKI ALIGNâ„¢ Method.
Today I help individuals restore clarity, resilience, and alignment by working with the nervous system first.
