My Background

My work is shaped by an unusual combination of Japanese tradition, movement, meditation, and visual arts.

I was born and raised in Tokyo and began studying Koto at age six, alongside traditional Japanese arts including Nihon-buyō, Shamisen, and Ikebana. These disciplines taught me something I still carry today: how rhythm, sound, movement, breath, and stillness can change the way we experience ourselves.

Before entering the wellness field, I spent more than a decade as a fashion and celebrity photographer. My visual training taught me to observe closely—to notice posture, movement, expression, and subtle changes that are often easy to miss.

Today, I bring those worlds together through mindful movement, breathwork, deep guided meditation, and Koto sound, creating an approach that works with both the body and mind.

Because learning how to switch off is a skill—and like any skill, it can be practiced.
