My Approach

Alignment, Strength & Root-Cause Integration
My work integrates anatomically informed alignment, somatic practices, and nervous system regulation to support whole-person transformation.
Rather than addressing symptoms in isolation, I assess posture, movement patterns, structural imbalances, and stress responses in the body. I also consider lifestyle, breath patterns, and nervous system regulation to understand deeper contributors to discomfort or limitation.
This creates a foundation for both physical and internal alignment—supporting how the body moves, and how the system regulates under stress.
Each session is highly individualized and may include:
☑️ Alignment-based yoga principles
☑️ Functional and structural movement work
☑️ Core and pelvic realignment
☑️ Pranayama and breath regulation
☑️ Somatic and meditative practices for nervous system balance
☑️ Ayurvedic lifestyle guidance where appropriate
This integrated approach supports strength, clarity, stability, and long-term resilience.
My goal is to help clients create lasting alignment—physically, mentally, and systemically.

My Background
My work is shaped by both cultural discipline and real-world experience.
I was born and raised in Tokyo in a traditional Japanese household, immersed in classical arts such as Nihon-buyō (traditional dance), Koto, Shamisen, and Ikebana. These disciplines cultivated precision, patience, and deep respect for structure—principles that continue to inform my approach to alignment and movement today.
Before dedicating myself fully to yoga and somatic education, I worked for over a decade as a fashion and celebrity photographer. This experience trained me to observe the body closely, understand nonverbal communication, and recognize subtle patterns of stress, imbalance, and resilience.
Today, I integrate this cultural foundation with anatomical training, alignment-based methods, and holistic health principles. My approach is grounded, observant, and responsive—supporting clients not only in how they move, but in how they sustain strength, clarity, and balance over time.

Why Work With Me
I take a structured, root-cause approach to movement and postural health — addressing not only symptoms, but the underlying patterns that create imbalance.
With over 20 years of experience in alignment-based yoga, structural anatomy, and nervous system regulation, my work integrates precise body mechanics with mindful awareness to support lasting change.
Sessions are attentive and individualized, balancing strength, alignment, and breath-based regulation to build resilience over time. Clients often experience improved posture, reduced discomfort, and greater confidence in how they move and function daily.
This work is designed for those who value precision, depth, and sustainable progress — not quick fixes.
